Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Website Developer & Graphic Designer with a strong eye for design and attention to detail. This role focuses primarily on WordPress website development (80%) while also covering creative graphic design projects (20%).
The ideal candidate should have a proven portfolio, experience working with WordPress and Elementor, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients. This position offers 50% remote flexibility, with the remainder requiring in-person collaboration at our Addis Ababa office located at Hayahulet.
Key Responsibilities
WordPress Website Development (80% of role)
Design and develop responsive WordPress websites using Elementor page builder.
Customize themes and plugins to meet client-specific needs.
Maintain and update existing WordPress websites.
Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
Provide training or support to clients on managing their websites.
Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards.
Graphic Design (20% of role)
Create logos, business cards, flyers, banners, and social media posts.
Design visual elements for websites and ads based on brand guidelines.
Collaborate with clients to understand design needs and deliver creative solutions.
Contribute to creative brainstorming and campaign development sessions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress website development.
Proficiency in Elementor, WordPress themes, and relevant plugins.
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar tools.
A strong portfolio showcasing both web and graphic design work (link or PDF required).
Familiarity with SEO best practices for websites and content.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with clients or agencies.
Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
Experience with Social Media and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads) is a plus.
Basic knowledge of video editing tools like Adobe Premiere or Canva Video is an added bonus.

50% Remote Work: Flexible hours available.
Must be able to work from our Addis Ababa office located at Hayahulet as scheduled.
